All my life I wanted to have a career doing something that I loved and had a true passion for. Choosing to be a hair stylist has been one of the most rewarding decisions I have ever made.

I always knew that it was in my blood as a god given talent, so in 2008 I enrolled myself in the AVEDA Institute here in Tallahassee, FL and with much concentration and seriousness about the program; I graduated at the top of my class. Since then I set out on a goal to own my own salon and really make a difference in people’s lives. I have continued to seek extensive training and have grown to a Master Level Stylist with a fire of passion for this industry. I love what I do!

Due to my own personal beliefs in the healing power of nature and my background with AVEDA, my mission is to bring more of a natural approach to the hair industry. The products I use are of the highest quality. Combining nature’s finest ingredients and extracts to help repair your hair and keep it healthy. I strive to keep potentially toxic to human chemicals out of your hair care. By seeking and using products that do not contain harsh chemicals such Ammonia, sulfates, parabens or stripping alcohols.

John Lilly

Licensed Massage Therapist – MA71512 | Owner

As a graduate of the Aveda Institute Tallahassee as an LMT, John has been very active in the field of Massage Therapy. He has served as the Big Bend Chapter President of the Florida State Massage Therapy Assn. (FSMTA). He has taken countless hours of continued education in many modalities such as Sports Massage and Reflexology. John has also attended the Florida Board of Massage Therapy meetings to further his knowledge of the Massage Therapy profession allowing him to serve his clients and community better.

Being a business owner in Tallahassee allows John even more opportunity to offer the best experience to promote health and well-being. He strives to live our mission at Lilly’s Spa Salon to only use natural/organic products that are paraben and toxic chemical free.
